Azure VPN User Guide
Kee Safety VPN Changes June 2025
We are increasing the security of the VPN system that we use, which will now use the Azure VPN client rather than the WatchGuard VPN client. This means you won’t have a separate VPN account, but you will now use your Office 365 login and password.
From 27th June we will be disabling the old WatchGuard VPN client, and you will be required to use the Azure VPN client instead.
Can you please make sure you test that you are able to connect using the Azure VPN before the 27th June,
How to use
To start the new Azure VPN client on your PC, click on the ‘Start’ menu, and type ‘Azure VPN’.

If you want to start the Azure VPN, click on ‘Open’ and if you want to pin this to your taskbar for future use, click ‘Pin to Taskbar’.
Once you are started the Azure VPN, you will see the VPN profile (usually only one will be shown), click on it (in this example we’ll use ‘Kee Safety UK VPN’) and you should see the ‘Connect’ button, press ‘[Connect]’.

You should now be prompted to login. Use your existing Office 365 username (i.e. email address) and password. Follow the Office 365 MFA procedure as normal.
Once you are connected, you should see the you are connected:-

When you are vinished with the VPN connection, press the ‘[Disconnect]’ button to disconnect.
